Exciting News for the Community Centre Grounds!

We’re excited to share that the preliminary master plan for the Linden Woods Community Centre grounds is now complete, marking an important milestone in shaping the future of our outdoor spaces.

Working in partnership with HTFC Planning & Design, the community centre has developed a longterm vision focused on enhancing recreation, accessibility, and the overall park experience. The plan includes a new outdoor rink, basketball court, pickleball courts, a dedicated pleasure skating area, and improvements to parking, including new parking spaces and a refinished parking lot to better support community use.

The master plan also places a strong emphasis on the surround­ing green space. New tree planting is being planned, along with enhanced walking trails in the adjacent park, creating a more connected, walkable, and welcoming environment for yearround enjoyment.

While the overall vision and site layout are now defined, construc­tion phasing and timelines are still under development. Further details will be shared as planning con­tinues and next steps are con­firmed.
