Workshop Description
This hands-on workshop will introduce participants to the fundamentals of pottery, starting completely from scratch.
Each participant will learn how to transform raw clay into a functional mug using traditional hand-building techniques.
The session will cover:
- Shaping and refining mugs through pinching techniques
- Attaching handles securely using proper scoring and slipping methods
- Personalizing pieces with texture, stamps, and decorative elements
- Painting with underglaze for added color and detail
- Understanding the drying and firing process
